BIOGRAPHY
Bon Kay has lived in Pennsylvania all her life and a central Pennsylvania resident for over 40 years. Becoming an author in her retirement, she was inspired to start a series of stories based on her Scottie dog, McTavish, who was her buddy for almost 12 years. Tavi, as he was nicknamed, rarely barked and loved everyone, especially those who tickled him behind his ear and children because they gave him love in return.
She hopes her Mr. McTavish series will inspire others.
Bon Kay retired from the real estate industry after 34 years , owning her own buyer agency at one time and
loved helping buyers and sellers save money during the largest investment of their lives.
Now she wants to invest in children, learning and having fun. Reading is fundamental but also can be immensely enjoyable at any age. The Mr. McTavish stories are based on her own experiences with her Scotty dog, McTavish. He brought her and her whole family great joy, and now she wants to bring that joy to young people everywhere.
She hopes introducing this new character will inspire young children to read and love more.
